SECOND GENERAL MEETING

International Students Association
Saint Petersburg. 30-04-2005.

International Students Association in Saint Petersburg organized its 2nd general meeting in the center of the city. In this meeting Students discussed about the Future activities and programs for the welfare of foreign students in Saint Petersburg.
Students from different university''s attended this meeting. First of all, we thank those Students who organized this meeting and set up the place for ISA.
There were different discussions and questions from the very new members and others.
The prime interest to most of the members was, whether we need a official registration at the moment or not, problems and advantages concerning this. At the end of the meeting was decided that this is not the main aim now, and that if we will work well and if we will need it, of course, it is just a matter of time.
In this second meeting, organizers of the ISA decided to form foreign student''s organization in each university as we hoped as in the First meeting. Recently this initial forms of organization exits in some institutions throughout the City. Our work will be concentrated in bringing in more and more
students from all universities. Though this is an A for foreign Students, we decided to include and actively cooperate with Russian students from different Institutions, who are interested to work together for the welfare of the association. This will be a great help and an interesting experience not only for the association as a whole, but for each member in particular. Since the section if StudNews is actually very grey and unpleasant, we decided to diversify it with other news from different aspects of Students life.
If your University is not yet enlisted, please write us a mail to organize ISA. Presently we are requesting to everybody send us e-mail citing your name, university, country, mob. tel. number, year/course, Hostel number and address.
In the website we will try to make the membership process more easier for the new students.
